A Whale trapped in a fishing net

Early this year a friend sent me this link as a gift for the New Year. What an inspiring story!

For years whales have fascinated me. I was fortunate enough to have many incredible experiences with them: swimming with Humpback Whales in Rurutu South Polynesia, observing for hours on Killer Whales in the San Juan Islands, USA or following a pod of Pilot Whales in the Maldives. Each time they offer a moment of humility and beauty.

When my wife was pregnant with our first son, one day we had the chance to swim with dolphins in the wild. The water was clear, the visibility amazing and the dolphins were in a very talkative mood. Since then I always say that dolphins connected with us and blessed our son.

This short video shows the good and bad impact we have on nature. Daily we are damaging our planet and its habitants – we have to change our way of life.

On the other hand we are also doing some good, humans have a good heart and this video a perfect example of how we can help, support and respect each other.

After watching this touching movie, please take a moment and support any conservation center near you or simply share the story with others to raise awareness.

Enjoy this beautiful story.
